Description

During this Alola totem change event, Cele has become a Morelull!

Awakening with a startled puff of spores at her new form, she is yet to be immune to their effects!
And thus she did not make it even to the bathroom before slumping right back down to sleep.

I’ve been working on this darn research paper for a while now, and feel as if my head will explode.

What a joy it is to visit your gallery and steal the brief opportunity I have to express myself, rather than recite mind-numbing facts!

I adore the totem change, it suits Cele so well. I love the smooth, crescent-shaped curve to her posture, and her inability to hold her head up. The translucency of the spore cloud is magical, it flows so lucidly, like a dream, with the larger spores dotting the plane like stars. The contrast of colors, too, is a marvelous choice as it emphasizes the dreamy atmosphere. I adore the purple, it is celestial and calming and deep, like the nighttime sky- and the mushrooms on her back are luminous, like the moon!

I like the way Cele is engulfed in her cloud; the way it wraps her in its grasp and holds her, in her restful state. I admit I feel a tad bit sorry for her inability to stay awake thanks to the spores she’s inexperience with.. but she looks so peaceful! And such tranquility, brings me to a personal, emotional state of rest that I find pleasant. I am sorry Cele, but this scene is so calm- and that’s right up my alley!

Her design is delightful. I am always fond of her short hair and I like her nightgown. Her green fingers are a subtle, but rewarding touch!

And before I make my leave, I really must once again praise you for your framing! I like that the spores cannot be contained in the circle, they’ve seeped out to infect us all! And Cele’s back fits so well into the curve, it really is quite comfortable! (In fact, all the curved lines you’ve included in this provide an incredibly nice fluidity to the piece. Cele’s posture and the faint waves in the cloud present a smooth sense of movement. It’s so relaxing.)
